Wildfire kills 12 in southern Spain as victims found in vehicles

Twelve people died in a wildfire near Almeria in southern Spain late on Thursday, regional authorities said, with some victims found inside vehicles. The deaths occurred in the hamlet of Bedar, the Andalusian regional government said in a statement, as firefighters continued efforts to contain the blaze.
