Maharashtra's Uniform Civil Code: Committee to draft legislation in two weeks

Maharashtra is set to establish a committee within two weeks to draft legislation for a Uniform Civil Code. This move follows an announcement that the state will implement UCC, with a retired high court judge to head the drafting panel.
