Venezuela earthquakes: Before and after images reveal scale of devastation

Satellite images taken in La Guaira State, the area hardest hit by the double earthquake that struck Venezuela on Wednesday, June 24, have revealed the scale of the devastation in the country. As the search for survivors goes on the death toll from the quakes continues to rise, with at least 589 people killed and nearly 3,000 injured.
